Re-Development of Comedy

Taking a step back to review our comedy, we decided to create a new scenarios and a beat sheet. We came to a decision to introduce a new character to give more contrast and remove a skit so to allow for better timing. The scenarios and beat sheet was created by Saskya Olsen to help us get a better grasp of our skits.

As Moom Jr is quite oblivious to the chaos that his action are causing, Moom Sr will be getting a lot of the brunt. Its also to be made apparent that Moom jr believes that Moom Sr is the one who causes all the problems, not himself.

Moom Sr Character Profile

- Serious and Grumpy.
- Has common sense.
- Gets upset when things go wrong.
- Smartly dressed and dis-likes dancing.

Moom Sr is made to be the contrast of Moom Jr and is based slightly on Basil Fawlty.

Through adding this secondary character it should in theory allow us to have better dynamic within the scenes, since now there is a cause and effect (action/reaction) happening within the scenes.

With these now set in stone, a new script was produced and after discussions with our tutor, we can now move onto the pre-visualization stage.

Although we do not have a storyboard or animatic currently for these new skits, it is something that will be produced with time. It more important to get a 3D Pre-Vis on the roll.
